We were just out backpacking and a 12 year old actually rubbed her finger raw trying to use a plain ferro rod. Someone offered her the Strike Force and she loved it because of the nice handle on the striker. Just another benefit of the design on this one.</description>

		<description>I really like this fire starting flint. The thing ought to last forever, too. It is a bit bulky, but you get the &quot;secret compartment&quot; for storing tinder, so that seems to even things out.</description>
